Yep, i have been hoping that they go out in every single round. Couldn't give a toss about Olympic football, only interested in one of our best players being ready and available at the start of the season.

He'll probably miss the first two league games. Then stick him on the bench in the cup game midweek, then start him game 3.

No point resting him for all three since he will presumably be off again on internationals in September.

If any sense prevails he should be rested for Brazil’s next round of matches in the international break, but I doubt he will.

Absolutely, but I doubt he will be happy with that. For that to happen, I would imagine the decision will need to be taken out of his hands

He'll be sharp enough given all the footy he's played. He'll just need the right amount of rest. Depends if we give him the full three weeks. He did have a week between the Copa and the Olympics so 2 should be enough.

I really hope he comes back happy! it must be amazing to be with your own friends and people after 1 year in isolation in England .I also hope that at Everton are teamethic and bonding is improving so that everyone feels a bit happier in the club!
