Hope I'm wrong but bit more pessimistic than others on here. I think he'll try and bounce us into selling him. Push for move in media/refuse to return/train and RM low ball us just before deadline day. Something along those lines.

I think the same. Footballers have all the power. They squeeze as much money out of clubs as they can when signing 5 year contracts, and 18 months later can down tools and force clubs into the transfer that suits the player. Modern football, no loyalty to clubs or supporters.

Club has compromised massively with him this summer needs to return the favour.

There's no shot he opts to skip the internationals but I'd not play him for the club beforehand.

We could have done prior to the Olympics - go the Olympics and miss the first round of internationals mid season to rest up or skip the Olympics and its all good.

Everton are paying his wages not Brazil.

Well we didn't have to release him for the Olympics but doing so doesn't give us any right to control future matches. We should have said no, but that's past.

Richarlison is by far the most naturally talented footballer at EFC. We as fans expect him to deliver on the promise of his god given ability and when the things that are preventing him from being a world class footballer are completely within his control (i.e. decision making, positive attitude, team play, not throwing himself to the ground every 3 minutes) we as fans are rightly frustrated.

In the case of Richarlison the above issue is exacerbated to a point that many of us want him gone because even if a footballer less talented takes up his position. As a fan supporting a team of players who exemplify morality, work ethic, and team play is more enjoyable because even when you lose you still have respect for the players and they provide a good example for your kids.

please explain how he is the most naturally talented player at the club?
james has 20 times the talent … he just doesn’t have a body that allows him to okay enough games .
Richy struggles with, shooting , decision making, passing, beating a man, and is wasteful in possession. Attacks break down frequently because of him, he does work hard , has a knack of getting into good positions tho but that’s hardly “footballing talent” when we are comparing him to other prem players
 

Anything 80 million and above then take it. Can see him staying one more year though and this being his best season for us.
