A 24 year old Brazilian international forward in this market?
The market is down, 24 isn't actually that young when you look at the players who are being bought for 50m or more currently and the Brazilian part isn't really a thing that matters is it? Osimhen went for 65m at 22 years old. That's closer to Richarlison's range for a value.

Well we didn't have to release him for the Olympics but doing so doesn't give us any right to control future matches. We should have said no, but that's past.

if we had any sense we'd have made a formal agreement to let him go to the Olympics if he agreed to stay in liverpool and rest for next international break which is at start of sept (we dont have any sense though so probably relying on brazil to do the decent thing haha)

What would you sell him for?

Genuinely can’t see why any Everton fan would want him to leave. He’s one of two players capable of scoring on a regular basis, starting Brazil international and young.

I get that if he left he’d go for a lot of money but it’s not my money so I don’t care, I would care if by selling him we sign a class rb, cm and a winger that can score goals and get more assists than richarlison does. But this is Everton, the team that bought 3 number 10’s when we sold lukaku and expected Sandro to score loads before realizing the guy was a burger maker at McDonald’s rather than a football player.

60m I'd probably take.

It's a hard one though. If you just look at his strong points he's a really good player. If you weigh his weak points more he's sort of crap. I just don't know which part matters more tbh. Are his goals outweighing the amount of times he's killing attacks with his poor passing and dribbling? Does his lack of creativity matter when he's as dangerous as he is in the box? I have a tough time answering mostly because we've not seen him with a competent midfield and that changes the equation.

He's not crap mate.

If you're just looking at creative play, dribbling ability, passing and especially forward passing he really is. And that's what I'm saying really is how much do the goals make up for it?
In this instance it is a player we don't want to sell who is coveted by a huge club, if they want him they need to pay or walk away, 60m won't even be close.

We bought him for 50m based on half a season at Watford, turned him into a full Brazil international who’s set to add an Olympic medal to a Copa America runner up medal and you want to sell him for just 10m profit?

I don’t think we paid that much for him, £40M with add ons was the reported fee. Doubt if he will be much use to any club until the middle of September, needs plenty of rest after his summer performances, then we will see if he can improve on his last very poor last season with Everton.
