He seems like he’s forever playing, with us or Brazil. The rest has to be a good thing for him in the long run.
It’s time for him to have a bit of a think, too. He’s got a bit of maturing to do as far as temperament goes, maybe this will help.

Of all the players I am least worried about being sent off at the moment, Richarlison is up there. He is of course a terrific talent and one of the best players at the club, but he has been slightly off of his best for the last few games. A three game ban gives opportunities to Iwobi, Bernard, and Gordon, who have all looked great in cameos against varying level of opponents.
There is of course the issue of our lacking depth for Calvert-Lewin, but if he remains uninjured over the next three weeks, the rest will do a world of good for Richarlison.

I actually like the fire is his belly as it drives him on and doesn't give up, but he's still got to temper that fire and as you say rightly mature - gain some experience.
He was playing poorly and his emotions got the better of him meaning we'll now miss it. If he hadn't made the tackle, he'd have been able to rectify it next week.
He's been carrying an injury the past couple of games , plus flying half way round the world with little time for recouperation.
Damn right the lad needs a rest.

Oh yeah, I agree. I love the desire he shows - he just needs to learn to channel it a bit better. He already sulks less than he used to, but he’s not there yet.

still think he should have been subbed instead of Doucs as our final change. We then wouldn't miss him for three games, and also RS couldnt be all over us in the added time. We could have even escaped with a winner, had we stayed 11 men. Poor decision there by Carlo methinks. It happens.
