2021/22 Richarlison

It's understandable after years of abject failure but we've become hysterical.

I understand the dislike of benitez due to his RS connections but he was right about Richarlison and those accusing him of making the whole thing up look ridiculous.

Do you really think a professional manager with his previous achievements (sorry!) would cococt a crazy lie about the reasons behind making a substitution? Like he is too afraid to stand by his decisions or admit to them? He's clearly not afraid to challenge people when he feels it's necessary (whether you agree with the reasons for it or not).

I get that we're hurting but the supporters are becoming a laughing stock and part of the problem. We need to take a hard look at ourselves

Why did he keep him on at half time then if he was injured?

I was howling at him being taken off as much as the next man but there was defo footage of him rubbing his calf after. Did no one any favours with his reaction but I'm not sure I see an agenda from him, he always chucks his toys out when substituted. Sure I read an interview where he admitted it drives him nuts, especially if he hasn't scored. Think he's a rare one who just genuinely loves playing football.

Got a funny way of showing it. Spends the entire game in a sulk.

Should have never let him go to the olympics.

If we were going to let him go he shouldn't have been rushed back for the first game a week later. He needed a couple of weeks rest.

You can't just play non-stop top level football for a year and expect your body to cope. Pedri has been out for a few months with muscle injury as well after going to the Euros and then Olympics and rushed back for Barca.

He's too much of a hot and cold player unfortunately,I'm sure he'd flourish in a better team,as would most players of course but if he cuts out the playacting and sulks he's a quality hard working player.

Yup. He's very hot and cold, and because he thinks he should be the one leading the line for us and be the focal point.
I think he cuts out a lot of his playacting this season.

I get his passion but it takes more than that to lead the line. If he puts in his Arsenal performance in most games, I think he will be fantastic but too bad those performances are too few.
