100% agree, lets see what numbers Sancho ends up posting over the next 24 months in a Top4 side that score for fun before comparing what Richy has done for a side that struggles to create.
Below his best last season but his work ethic and influence would be massive for a big team full of superstars. A bit like Suarez with Neymar and Messi at Barca, uglier on the eye but massively effective.
Had sancho posted them numbers in the premier league over the last 2 seasons, for us or West Ham or Leicester. His price would have been 120mil

Richarlison got 7 goals and 3 assists in 34 league games last season.
Grealish got 6 goals and 10 assists in 26 league games last season.

Both 25 this season, City paid a premium for Grealish being English and joining another English club too. Not sure it's an accurate comparison.

De Bruyne, Aubameyang, Son, Sane, Firmino, Gundogan, plenty of very good players have come from the Bundesliga too.

….Richarlison 10 in 32 for Brazil, Grealish 0 in 12 for England. Richarlison 34 in 107 for Everton, Grealish 29 in 185 for Villa.

Accepting Richarlison is seen as more of a striker, I do think he’s an effective footballer. He had an ordinary season last time but we watch him week in, week out, warts and all. Grealish was so disappointing when I watched him closely at Goodison.

Grealish is the hype player, Richarlison much less high-profile. I genuinely prefer Richarlison.

We had 4 semi-regular goal threats last season, of those

James hasnt played yet and may be going and Number 10 is gone for good

So if we sell Richy, our only goal scorer will be DCL, would be a disaster

….Grealish looks a better player because of his fancy appearance & playing style but I’ve watched him closely & I don’t think he’s nearly as effective a footballer as Richarlison.

We do our own players down, Richarlison is a regular starter for Brazil, Grealish rarely starts for England and got subbed when he came on as sub. I think he’s very overrated and extremely overpriced.

Two different players to compare but if we are talking about their impact for their club then I've got to say Grealish has had more impact on Aston Villa's success. Richarlison was poor for me last season and despite a few good games here and there he didn't do half as good as I expected. If i had to choose, I'd take Grealish every day of the week.

…and the game is all about opinion. It will be interesting how Grealish gets on at City, he’s clearly a talented player but I think he is over-hyped.

When was this? Last season in front of no fans when he didn’t play, or the season before in front of no fans?

He is the reason I enjoyed watching Villa over the years as he dictated everything. It will be different at Man City as he will have to fit in to a team that has many creative outlets. I would have liked him to have stayed at Villa.

Very political way of saying it. Grealish is 18 months older than Richarlison

..though I do agree the English premium is there. I reckon Everton could fetch 80m for Richarlison - but he's the kind of player we need to keep to improve.

Mario Cortegana, apparently a reliable source on Twitter, has said it’s very likely Mpabbe will be moving to Real before the weekend. It seems widely accepted that Rich is one of their main targets. Could all get a bit spicy towards the end of the window this. I’d want £70m minimum and would not be at all confident we’d spend it wisely. Need to buy replacements before selling.

If we have any balls, we firstly say he's not for sale and reject any bids. Unless he really kicks up a fuss, well then its £85m plus we demand. 3 years left on his contract ffs...

Lets be honest, we knew this day would come (just like Lukaku etc) but at least we got our moneys worth when we sold him.
