Yup. If we were in the position Spurs are in now then I don’t think there’d be any question of him leaving. He’ll have agents in his ear and he’s now at an age where he’ll be entering his prime. I’m not sure, even with the best will in the world, he’ll ever achieve what he wants at Everton given how inept our board has been over the last few decades. He’s given his all for the club and deserves to go on to bigger and better things.
