Reckon he’s said if Everton cant provide a platform for him to play in Europe, he’s offski. Ie show me through signings you mean business or ta ta.
Reality of an ultimatum like that is everyone knows full well we’re financially hamstrung so there’s obviously no one incoming that’s going to make him think it’s worth staying.
At the same time he’s not just saying he want out regardless. Saves face while basically getting off.
Basically said last season he promised Ancelotti one more season…… well we just had it.

Personally I think £70m+. But we will see.
Even at £60m. That still gets us 2 competent players. You would hope. Throw in the Kean money as well. Our team should improve.
We already have his replace in. Dele Alli. So you think no money would be spent on a like for like replacement.

No, because the midfield would still be as weak as piss and K-P would need a year to adapt etc.

Not enough that is shabby. We could have paid almost £50m for him in the first place. He starts for the Brazilian National team. £80m from aboard.

Funny because it’s true.

Given the state of our squad after flogging our last crop of saleable assets, Richy and DCL feel like last chance saloon. If we haven’t learned lessons on how to improve the squad with the cash we get, we’ll sink like a stone.

I personally like the look of Colwill and I’d happily take a punt on Johnson/KLP. I just hope we swerve Tarkowski and Cornet; they just have massive “Everton signing” vibes that worry me.

Considering we shouldn't spend 30m on players anymore because it never works out we should get around 3 for 60m. Which makes it an easy yes.

And for the love of God can we please not say Dele is a replacement that burned my eyes.
