I meet football fans all over the world, I meet Everton fans everywhere, I meet Forest and Leeds fans everywhere, I cannot recall meeting one single Villa fan, genuinely. I only know one, a yow-yow called Harvey, lovely guy, his mum lives in the old peoples home next door

Villa are only big in villa heads and once Slippy has spunked all the cash they'll be back in the doldrums.

Like most of these "fans" from other clubs.

We've been signing a few Brazilians lately. I think you overestimate how good Richarlison is and our spending power. I don't think we're in for him, but if we were, I think we'd have a good chance of getting him.

70 of those 100 people would probably think Aston Villa is a house on the Costa del Sol

If you ask 100 fans they’d say they couldn’t care less and neither could I. Both clubs who’ve had successful periods in their history but been irrelevant to everyone other than their own supporters for decades - especially villa not even being in the premier league. Absolutely no interest in comparing ourselves to Villa.

Re Richarlison, you would have no chance, none of getting him. That’s absolutely ridiculous. You think he’s changed his representatives to get him a move to Villa? Jeez, I’d sack the new advisers immediately if they even suggested it. He’s wanting a move to a champs league team - regardless of whether he’s overrated on here or not.
