Player Valuation: £35m
Can see us pushing on this next week. He’ll want to make sure he’s settled before pre-season starts. Can’t see him wanting to train with Everton if he knows he’s leaving.

I think you are looking at Dominic on this seasons games when he obviously hasn’t been at his best because of injuries, do you think Richarlison was much better at the start of the season when he came back from playing in TWO tournaments for Brazil during the summer, did you see him when Lampard first came and the absolute sitters he missed v Man City, Wolves, WHU,scored two penalties v Burnley and I give him a lot of credit for those because of the pressure he was under with those, but he missed a good chance at the start of the second half against them, he could have gone home with the match ball v Leicester City because he missed two glorious chances before he scuffed the equaliser in near the end, so we could have well saved from relegation if he had taken those earlier chances instead of biting our nails off ‘til the next to last game of the season when secured safety and I admit he played his part in those last few games with his goals and of course DCL played his part with that terrific goal v Crystal Pal to clinch a victory in which every player helped us win after a very poor first half.Richarlison has a better goals per game record. And had more assists. The fact you can remember DCL’s only assist in his last 2 seasons says it all, he’s a pretty average footballer.
Richarlison can hold it up yes he’s not brilliant, but neither is DCL and that’s supposed to be one of his strengths. The problem when richarlison is upfront our clowns at the back think it would be a good idea to launch it towards his head when he’s marked by a 6”4 CB. Obviously Dcl can compete better in them situations, though I’d wish he’d stop jumping an hour early does my nut in.
That’s fair enough and it’s all about opinions. And yes you’re right richarlison missed some good chances, I do think he has more strings to his bow than Dom. and last season Dom must have missed 7 or 8 one in one’s. He scores 4 and we get into Europe.I think you are looking at Dominic on this seasons games when he obviously hasn’t been at his best because of injuries, do you think Richarlison was much better at the start of the season when he came back from playing in TWO tournaments for Brazil during the summer, did you see him when Lampard first came and the absolute sitters he missed v Man City, Wolves, WHU,scored two penalties v Burnley and I give him a lot of credit for those because of the pressure he was under with those, but he missed a good chance at the start of the second half against them, he could have gone home with the match ball v Leicester City because he missed two glorious chances before he scuffed the equaliser in near the end, so we could have well saved from relegation if he had taken those earlier chances instead of biting our nails off ‘til the next to last game of the season when secured safety and I admit he played his part in those last few games with his goals and of course DCL played his part with that terrific goal v Crystal Pal to clinch a victory in which every player helped us win after a very poor first half.
I think that leaves us in the same position you like Richarlison but not fussy on Dominic and me having the opposite view, so thanks for the debate, it’s been genuinely nice having one with you but I think we are both not going to change our views our we?
NoiceHe scored for Brazil against South Korea tonight.

There is no player in the Villa squad I wouldn't be happy to sell to Everton or any other club. We sell at the price we want to sell at and it gives us the opportunity to improve the squad. I really don't understand the mindset behind not selling Richy to Villa., (well I do actually) You should sell Richy to Accrington Stanley if they made the right offer. The problem many fans have is they think they think are losing and looking inferior if they sell one of their better players to another club rather than Real Madrid or BarcelonaWhich is all well and good but you dont decide Watkins career path mate.
Why would he want a move to Wolves especially if he was settled at your place?
Digne is different as he and Benitez had completely fallen out and was told to find another club - no CL club shown any concrete interest so he had to move to Villa essentially.
Would be like Ings told to leave by Slippy - sure Everton could probably sign him in that situation but if he was happy at Villa and playing under your manager why would he want to leave to join us in a sideways step?
Mate you’re arguing with someone who might not even be an Everton fanThere is no player in the Villa squad I wouldn't be happy to sell to Everton or any other club. In fairness, the bar isn't been set too high for other player to covet from Everton. What do u expect fans to say: Holgate, Iwobi, Townsand, Allen, Colman, Delph, Keane, Alli, Tosun and Rondon et alNot solely true. I was watching a few podcasts lately from other clubs fans who had the choice of 1 player from each club. Every one of them chose Richarlison and it wasnt by default. The over rated thing with Evertonians i take with a pinch of salt. Most are either world class or crap.
Outside of neymar he is the player brazil go to.
Im the last sort of person to wax lyrical about players. But Richarlison is a decent player.
Not really we sold Digne to you and signed a better replacementThere is no player in the Villa squad I wouldn't be happy to sell to Everton or any other club.
