There is no player in the Villa squad I wouldn't be happy to sell to Everton or any other club. We sell at the price we want to sell at and it gives us the opportunity to improve the squad. I really don't understand the mindset behind not selling Richy to Villa., (well I do actually) You should sell Richy to Accrington Stanley if they made the right offer. The problem many fans have is they think they think are losing and looking inferior if they sell one of their better players to another club rather than Real Madrid or Barcelona

Football is largely governed by money. Why do u think Villa just signed Kamara? A much sought after player by many top teams and he left a team who had CL football next season. Do u think Birmingham was the deciding factor, or maybe finishing 14th in the PL or was it the opportunity to play in front of Tyrone Mings:? Why did Coutinho sign? Why did Digne sing? Why did Carlos sign? Currently, Villa is in a position to pay the wages that attract players. That is what football is about outside of the top few elite teams.

I appreciate u are used to signing ageing players with no hunger but who does that apply to at Villa, I assume u mean Coutinho? There is nothing to suggest Carlos has no hunger or Digne for that matter. Kamara is only 22 so he isn't exactly ageing. Chambers is 27 and has a lot to prove so no loss of hunger, he has actually been our best defender since we signed him.

Personally I think you're naive mate and getting above your station even more so than the Geordies.

Coutinho (who I rate) is a near 30 yr old injury prone player coming to the end of his career who joined you for his last big payday to work under a manager he knew personally like James Rodriguez did with us (look how that went).

Digne left because Benitez had told him he was finished hereI- if he never had fallen out with Benitez he would still be here, Villa never came and turned his head.

They'll be 6 teams you aint finishing above next season:

Man City
Kopites
Chelsea
Spurs
Utd
Arsenal

You're also currently no stronger than WHU, Leicester or Wolves and you have Newcastle who'll strengthen also. I also wouldn't put it past us to push for 10th-13th if we can keep DCL fit and sign 3-4 shrewd players to fix glaring weaknesses in the side like Tarkowski.

All in all you could be on to finish anywhere from 8th-13th which is not what Richarlison would be looking to leave the club for.

Its like me suggesting Declan Rice may leave West Ham for us if we offer him 150k a week its bonkers man !

I don't understand the point u are making nor how I am getting above my station. Do u think the player we signed wanted to join Villa? I don't, I think they came for the money we offered. I also agree we will not finish above those 6 teams (but I live in hope).
