Where is this unfathomable bile?
Most of what I’ve seen is Evertonians very confused as to why Villa suddenly think they’re such a big draw for top players now, to the point you can pinch our best player in some kind of Man United - Rooney fashion where we couldn’t do anything about it.
Most of us don’t hate Villa, I don’t mind you at all, good old club like ours really, but when you have people giving it large on an Everton forum that you’re superior after finishing above us once in our worst season for decades I’m not sure why you’re all so surprised at getting some bites in our reactions?
One of you genuinely said the other day that you and Newcastle are the biggest clubs outside the top 6 that players would want to sign for. I replied about Leicester who have won a league/cup and just got to a European final, West Ham who just got a European semi, wolves who have been fighting for Europe for a couple of seasons, us who were in the mix for Europe until one crap year but still have some top players at the club depending on how this window goes and didn’t get a reply.
Does anyone want to articulately tell us poor evertonians once and for all how Villa are so much better than us now?
Is it the slippy kopite?
Is it being rich (like most premier league clubs)?
Is it taking some gambles on signing older players on big wages (we’ve been there - good luck)?
Stop trying to act superior over us on our forum and then cry about the mean evertonians not immediately agreeing ?
Man City fans are welcome to tell us how much better their squad is than ours, in fact we’ve had one telling us all about Zinchenko in the transfer thread and he gets plenty of respect because he gives respect

You’d forgotten what a % of Villa fans can be like on here but now you remember they’re the slow talking Geordies of the yokel lands. A mere hint of ambition turns them into sneering fantasists. It’s ok a relegation will come and humble them again soon, it always does.

Funny really I’ve never seen Villa fans acting out like this but I was too young mid-nineties I suppose when they can second and won a couple league cups.
Let’s not let the actions of a few villains detract from the fact that there are definitely a much bigger, fatter, shirtless % of geordies that are awful.

Every team outside of the top 6 are one injury crisis away from a relegation battle us, villa, wolves, even Leicester.
We are the only team outside of the big 6 to never have been relegated from the premier league.
I don’t mind villa and they have rolled the dice and I think they have a better chance of Europe than relegation but paying massive wages to ageing players albeit good ones does not come without risk.
They have done nothing yet to warrant anything other then blind optimism.

However it is just an insecure minority and yes it must be stated for the record that they are a considerably bigger and more relevant club than Newcastle could ever be. Good point mate.

You aren't even the best club in the Midlands. He isn't leaving us to play for a team that finished 2 places and only 6 points above us (after whats pretty much our worst PL season) especially when the only real difference between us is the manager, of which yours is worse both as a player and then a manager.

I think what people are saying @JohnT is that this type of one eyed controlling behaviour is not healthy and manifests in your parenting skills where your adult daughter will seek out all sorts of ready cock to rebel against her father’s undesirable behaviour.
