Well I hope he's either sold, or pens a new 3 year deal withing 10 minutes of the window opening.

More than ever this season we need to know the squad Lampard has to work with and hope they get a good few weeks of meaningful training in. Don't need any uncertanties with 7 days to kick of. Get it done.
Yeah regardless of what happens as long as he doesn’t join a premier league team and tarnish his rep I’ll always love Richy and won’t begrudge him leaving but stay or go - we need a quick resolution to either celebrate a new contract or rebuild

I think he is likely to leave. A reunion with Carlo would be nice. I just don’t want him going to another Premier League team above all else. It’d hurt too much.
If Ancelloti offers £80m for Richarlison then I would regard that as a perfectly acceptable and cordial outcome. I'd be happy for Carlo, happy for Madrid, happy for Richarlison and happy for us.

I would love him to stay at Goodison for another season but if that means he leaves NEXT summer for half the fee, that would be a mistake for the club. If he can be persuaded to sign an extension then that would be a different avenue worth pursuing... But with finances as tight as they are I can't see it happening.

He's a great lad who has been fully committed from day one and will be fondly remembered by any sensible Blue. Just don't sell him to a Prem club.

Agreed. For me when Carlo left it was easy to take because it was Real Madrid and no one in their right mind turns them down (Mbappe included).

If Richarlison left us and the league to the biggest club in football, to arguably the best manager of all time, for £70-80m then I’d be more than satisfied.

Unfortunately we need a big sale this summer and despite him being the one player I think we’d all love to keep, he’s the likely loss.

Looks like he is going and I think heading Real or PSG not a PL club but one never knows. What ever he is in his prime so should be 70 - 80 mill plus.

Gordon is a hard working , talented prospect who has too little end product at present. Gray and Dele are brilliant on their day unfortunately they only have about 10 ‘days’ between them each season.
God help us if that’s the ‘plan’.
Being able to be play on left, as balance goes Richy departure looks nailed on, as soon as Alli came in have been resigned myself to this happening. My heart hopes it not, but yeh that's football.

agreed with all of the above, but.... if Richarlison does well for Brazil in Qatar, will the fee truly drop?

Villa lads, no disrespect but you were able to sign Digne as our manager was desparate to get rid. Its not like you tapped him up and he kicked off to move.

Yes you are spending big but so did we years ago and look at the state of us.

We had a season from hell and you only finished 6 points ahead of us after your amazing ambition and money spent last summer.

There are about 5 teams hoping to be the best of the rest, we will be aiming for the same, regardless of how ambitious and unrealistic that may be.

If he goes it will be to a bigger club than both of us to play CL football.

Which is why I fully expect next season to be a white knuckle ride similar to the one we’ve just endured.
We really are a mess.
