Have to wait until the full details are known before fully losing my mind but on the face of what's reported that is a really bad piece of business. I know we have a very weak hand and an equally weak negotiator but how can the fee be comparable with what we paid for him. Maybe it'll be 50 + 10 and forget any fee for Dele which would make things a little more palatable.

One thing though is I don't want us to do any more business with Spurs for any of their dross, don't want any of our money going back to them at all.

So farewell Richy. From now on when you start your diving and rolling about you'll get a cold, hard reception from your former disciples.

Watford signed him for like £11m, he played 30 odd games, scored 5 goals and sold him for £50m as 21 year old - a player who had a woeful second half of his debut Prem season.

Everton sign him for £50m, develop him into a full international - remove any doubt about the lads ability and sell him for £50m (then deduct Watford/Richarlison fees) and £10m add ons.

This Everton board...

I expected him to leave, but to a bigger club than Spurs and for a little more money.

Concerned about the clubs ability to replace him - Thelwell and Lampard have so little credentials in recruitment.

Not just credentials but say.

We've no idea if Moshiri will use Kia and bypass Thelwell like he's done with others in the past.

Making a cool 10 million profit on someone who covets the most revered moniker in world football. Brazils No.9

Der nar neeeerrrrr
Der nar neeeerrrr
Ner ner ner ner nerner nerrrr

it’s good news... for the blues
and there’s no more time to lose ?

Oh, Levy wont be satisfied with this. There'll probably be first dibs on Gordon if he so wishes to rip him off us 12 onths from now.

This ownership and board need to be swept into the Mersey.

It's all out war with them from now on.

They need hounding out as a matter of urgency.

There will be utter bedlam down there next season if we dont start well.

I dont blame Levy, i wish we had someone like him, he absolutely smelt blood in the water and went for the kill, all while eating lobster with Bill in Mayfair - thinking hes our mate because of the Alli deal, hes played us like a fiddle with a long term strategy thats just been realised - this is months in the making, we are absolute bafoons.

The premise of a transfer of loosing your better player is you have to get better or be financially compensated to get better, this does neither, feels like Rooney and Arteta all over again.

The Gordon links concern me.

One of them Kev, Bill or Moshiri need to be front and centre today to face the music.

Tarowoski annocement, will get done mark my words.

We are selling because we have to sell. And when you are in that position, you will always struggle to get full value.

The problem is that we got to this position in the first place. The deal was never going to be in our favour once we found ourselves in this mess.

The board should be resigning on bloc over this. There is no reason for anyone to have confidence in any of the club's leadership - not Moshiri, not Kenwright, not any of the other board members. The only person I have confidence in right now is Lampard, but he needs help.

They should get all of it. We spent all the Digne fee straight away so can't see why we can't spend player sales without it affecting FFP.

You get on the telly and justify this Everton.

Dont hide behind your go-to hacks to spin it for you. You apologise for this.

Completely dead this lot now. They will be gone. And if the new owners have any sense whatsoever they'll clear every last single members of that board out before the fans turn on them too.

This is as big an insult to Everton as I can remember.

We've lost colossal cash, face and status over this sale.

It’s not great business, but then we knew it wouldn’t be. Our inability to shift crap players on huge wages has left us completely hamstrung, and Spurs and everyone else knows it. I suspect we’ll need to sell another big player next summer for a decent fee too so anyone we bring in now must have resale value.

With that said, I think a lot of the problem here is that we overpaid hugely for him in the first place. He’s a limited footballer technically, with a knack for scoring deflected/scuffed goals. Top attitude and desire, but I’ve never been shy on here about not particularly rating the lad. Think considering they’ve got us over a barrel that the fee isn’t too bad.
