Theyve dragged us down to this, we're hand to mouth, getting absolutely pick poted by clubs, we were absolutely ahead of in the pecking order 10 years ago and the seasons before this ownership model came in.

Yeah, we don't know if a request has been put in, but even if a formal one wasn't, I'd expect all meetings with the board to be minuted so they will have it written somewhere that he wants out.

They may have just even come to an agreement about it when he signed his new contract or when we let him go to the Olympics etc. But as he seemed to be pushing the move, it would seem strange to still pay him it.

Fortunately I think their time is up. Sounds as though a takeover of sorts is in progress this summer. They’ve gone out for investment but it looks as though the investing parties took one look at the incumbents and decided they wanted them nowhere near.

The sooner the lot are out the better.

I hope they manage to do one final competent act and guarantee the new owners have to wipe the debt and fund the stadium as conditions of the sale but I wouldn’t bank on them achieving that either, after all they have achieved nothing in their time here. Truly woeful.
