I know he is dreadful, but he played a key defensive role in wins towards the end of the season that kept us up, so is he worthy of legend status like Richarlison?

There are very few legends at any club and generally they come from teams that have been successful. I don't think there is any player currently at Everton who will be regarded as a legend in fifteen years time based on what has been done to date.

No I'm not. The team stunk and when the team stinks you have to make moves to fix it. This is an opportunity to take one player who couldn't drag the team along on his own and turn it into three who might be as good or better.

Again we're going to screw it up but it really is a possible one step back three steps forward.
