It's all relative.

If you're 12, who else have you realistically had to look up to in your time as an Evertonian?

To each their own. I'll remember Richy as a loyal servant to the club in a difficult period.

Campbell - kept us up, first black captain and changed the whole ethos of the club.
Richarlison - kept us up, never say die.

I think the sale of the club is for the same reason as the sale of the player....financially necessary.

I hope that the potential buyers have more idea about how to run a club than the present owner and can only hope that Peter Kenyon is somehow involved in the stewardship of the club as at the very least we know he is capable.

Recent events also categorically confirm that the money being spent belonged to Usmanov.

Well not really. We spent £1.5m last year for the same reason - p&l - and Usmanov was still on board then.

We have money, but we can only spend what we bring in, due to those rules.

I dont think there can be any wrong or right on this.
I tend to keep it quite selective as i dont want to undermine the term to those i think who should stand out more.
Dixie Dean 400 appearences for Everton wont be classed in the same bracket as kanchelskis on 52 by me.
But each to their own.
