The Independent Police Complaints commission says ballistic test results so far show no evidence that a handgun found at the scene of the fatal police shooting of Mark Duggan had been fired. It says the Forensic Science Service is carrying out further tests to confirm this. The IPCC says the Forensic Science Service has also confirmed that the bullet lodged in a police radio was police issue and consistent with being fired from a police gun.

You fail to mention that it was confirmed he WAS carrying a loaded gun.

Oh dear.

But the perp had a gun? Did he pull it out of his trousers lad?

Over here police will kill you for pretending to shoot at them.. (Which I agree with)

The point is, the police said he fired a shot and they responded. It didn't happen that way.

I'm looking for a pair of Adidas Originals Porsche.

Has JD Sports closed yet?
I've got many.
What colour and size are you after Sir?

Getting ahead of yourself again Dave.

If he raised the gun and pointed it at someone the Police's rules of engagement mean they could act if they felt there was a risk to endanger life. Including their own.

As soon as a gun was raised and pointed. Even loaded. They can't know if it's loaded or not.

You're doing a Murdoch/Mckenzie and pre-judging the outcome of the IPPC investigation Dave.

The real point Dave is that the suspect had a loaded gun in a country where that's illegal.

Hell even in big bad America you can't have your weapon loaded!!! FFS..

No. Wrong. The police said he'd fired at them - they then shot him dead.

It didn't happen and it looks to very excitable people like an execution.

No. The police haven't claimed anything.

They're not allowed to comment whilst an IPPC investigation is underway. FACT.

That's the law.

Only the IPPC are allowed to comment. And they're by definition INDEPENDENT

If you knew what you were talking about instead of stirring you'd know that.

It wasn't loaded it was fake.

There is no counterpoint to this: the coppers lied to cover their tracks.

They've not commented.

You're doing a Murdoch/Mckenzie "THE TRUTH" idiotic comments.

You're stating speculation and rumour is fact.
