Sounds like drug dealer to me, I wouldn't jump to that conclusion though..

I'm astounded that the police have to let this guy fire first before they are allowed to shoot him. Even if it was a fake gun (which it seems it wasn't) then why carry it?

To quote the great Bill Hicks "Woohoo, we just lost a moron, the world feels lighter....woohoo!".
Anyway, what relevance does the shooting of a gun-wielding numpty have to this thread. I doubt many of the chavs out there can spell Duggan never mind have heard of him.

All he would have had to do is point it in order for the cops to use force.

TBF, Police in this country have a bad record about lying to cover up their mistakes when they get things wrong.

Of course its out of control now and the copycats in other cities are more than likely doing it for the former reason.

But there's still a lot of reasons for why the riots originally started which should be examined and understood.

As I said before, if you don't like capitalism and the welfare state, you have a) the right to vote (which most of these mongos decline. and b) the right to leave the country and enjoy the wealth of the likes of Cuba, China or Russia. I hear their benefits system is fantastic. As is their tolerance record with rioting.

Anyone who "uses" riots as a form of expression and thinks it will somehow change things for the better should be looting Waterstone's rather than JD and doing a bit of reading. They also don't deserve any sympathy imo.

Yes you can say its very misguided but its not like it was planned over years, it was a sponteaneous reaction to years of (what they see) of neglect, racism, poverty and generally feeling like no one but people in the same boat really give a **** about them.

And eventually somethings gonna give.

And just so no one jumps in, i'm not condoning these riots in any way, just trying to understand them and explain them from others point of view.
