Really?
Ok, what would you call it then?
Because it's quite clear that Madrid made a huge mistake in letting him go.
Messi and Ronaldo are the best two best players in the world at the moment so yes, they do provide that killer touch more often than most players. I'm not doubting the players mentioned are better than Robben.
But you name me ten better wingers (players who operate outwide) in Europe at the moment? I think you'll struggle.
I probably will, but that could also be down to the fact that natural wingers are not really cultivated as much as they used to.
I'm basically basing much of my opinion on watching him last season in La Liga and when he played for Chelsea. He may well have matured at Bayern and maybe not fair for me to base my opinion without viewing him in last seasons Bundesliga.
Anyway, he's out isn't he?
Think it was Forentino Perez and/or Jorge Valdano who decided to recover some money on Robben and Sneijder in order to bring in Ronaldo and Kaka as basically direct replacements. Maybe figured they were too good to be substitutes which makes sense. They are.Still no definite confirmation on that. Had his best season yet, at Bayern this year. Looks to have settled into life in Germany. Tbf to him, Pellegrini stated after being sacked by Real, that it wasn't his idea to sell Robben and Sneijder.

That is very trueI used to listen to The Guardian podcast last season and the Spanish correspondent quite often was reporting high levels of criticism over Robben's team performances, and I also see that Guillame cat from Sky Sports saying the same.
Thinking about it Madrid is, has been and maybe always will be about individual performances.
That is very true
DT let us know before i place a bet, really fancy them to do it this time. I might make it a each way bet if he is out though.
Rumours are floating around that he'll only be out for eight days. Don't do facebook myself, but he supposedly said that he'll travel to SA. Very good news if true.
