Martinez is not going anywhere soon, thanks to the hiatus in ownership and therefore general management of the club. However, I am fed up of his inability to get this squad of players to win games on anything like a consistent basis.
Even if we win the FA Cup, he will have failed if we finish in the bottom half of the league this year.
Seems to be a nice guy, but lacking the killer instinct that the really top managers display.

Frustrating result today, but he can't run on the pitch and convert one of the umpteen assaults on goal. There comes a point when you have to look to the players and point the finger there for results like this. So many times they went to the well today and came back with no water. They have to look to themselves. Of course they're not inclined to do that if supporters just look to blame the manager.

It's not just today though is it? Is that six home game we've lost in the league (too painful to check accurately)? When games like today become the norm, then the manager has to take some responsibility.
He's in a position where he is judged by results. In any other team of Everton's stature he would have gone at least two months ago. There must come a time when even you lay some of the blame at his door..

Maybe sub's could be better? Or even a £13.5m player coming on might of changed things Dave?

But he is deemed unfit!! For a pro footy player!!

Laying siege to their goal got us absolutely nowhere. Martinez is incapable of changing things when we aren't winning. Bringing on Kone and Osman and totally ignoring Mirallas and Niasse just baffle me.
Still, we passed the ball well.
