Baines was Misinterpereted and follow that with saying in another job he would face disciplinary action, disciplinary action for what exatly - you do know the itnerview was given inside the ground after the game in an area that journalists are allowed to ask the players for interviews and its the players choice - freely allowed by the club to do so?

I think now we can start to compare his 2nd and 3rd seasons against his 1st. I used to compare him against Moyes average but as some bang on about the 72 it's only fair to use that now and question as to whether it was in fact a fluke. I've asked the question a few times and never had an answer funnily enough.

I think any company would struggle to discpline someone for telling the truth.

What got misquoted?? nothing from what i seen his quotes where intact. the headline might have been tweaked - but not out of context.
