Look lets put our cards on the table.
We need to recognise failure and not dress it up to be something it,s not.
Bite the bullet, lets make the call and move on.
All we are doing here is twisting the knife in further pushing a new generation of supporters away form the club.
What has gone on and is going on is not anyone's best interests.
Cmon, lets step aside here and let new blood give fresh hope to the next generation of fans before it,s too late.

In reality mate, you and I sing from the same hymn sheet. But (and I think it was me who brought up the 'planet Everton' figurative), the powers who give gravity to Everton's 'orbit' (i.e. the Board) are not going to change their orbiting modus operandi anytime immediate (notwithstanding Mr Moshiri's 49.9% shareholding).

Martinez is with us for at least another half season.

I don't think Martinez is the man to take us forward.
You don't think Martinez is the man to take us forward.

But the reality is : Martinez isn't going anywhere...just yet.

So, I, personally speaking, am not letting too much heat, gather beneath my collar.

Suffice to say : I am confussed

My dad, a season ticket holder, and been going to Goodison for over 70 years, tells me he's not going to renew. Other than church Everton is pretty much the only thing he does. Says it's too much of a struggle to get there when they never win.

Thanks Roberto.

On what basis do you you believe he stays on? Unless you have direct quotes from the board then the likelihood is that results will not get better and the runway train hits the media buffers.

It's just a personal opinion based on Everton history.

As I said, I'm feeling a little confussed.

Everton that

He does himself no favours with the fans, they're baying for blood looking for people to take responsibility for a very poor two years and he comes out with his usual wishy-washy, fingers-in-the-ears everything is alright answers.

A proper wind up merchant.

I like him.
lol lol lol

My money is on history being rewritten soon.
On a personal note I hope Bobby knows what he,s doing because an angry and wounded Everton fan base is quite a sight.
Wigan it ain,t.

Barkley, lukaku, Coleman and Baines should have more aggression in them andput themselves about

Easy to say mate, but if like i suspect their is very little aggression or 'bite' to training then come match day it's going to be hard to suddenly turn it on like a tap - especially as both Barkley and Lukaku you could convincingly argue have had their personas on the pitch greatly moulded by Martinez due to their ages and relative inexperience at the time he first took hold of them

Baines and Coleman have both IMO anyway been impacted hugely in a negative way since Martinez took over and had some of that aggression they had under Moyes (not massive ammounts tbf) trained out of them

Hate to use the example of the rs but do you fully expect next season that team to be fitter, more aggressive and more committed and work harder than they ever did under Rodgers - if the answer is yes then that shows the effect a manager and day to day training has in a team

Can se it with every team Mourinho takes over within 3-4 months as well really

Sad to hear that mate.
But football now is played on a totally different pitch than the game your Dad, (and me tbh), grew up watching.

Nowadays, we watch a mercenary army battle for us ...the monetary disparity between fan and 'player in our shirt' has killed the fundamental essence of the whole thing.

And managers are just a 'waiting to be burned' effigy toward the whole soul-extracted exercise.
