Interested in why you dismissed the 1st caller as a 'divi'?
I think that's because we was an Evertonian who didn't want us to win the cup mate!

Was it you?
If so, I thought it was utterly pathetic to want us to NOT repeat NOT win the cup just to guarentee he goes.
I mean FFS
he could still be binned off, no way would I sacrifice a cup for something that'll ultimately play itself out.
I think he was scared and trying to make the point that if winning the cup meant Martinez didn't get binned then he would prefer not to win it. Some might argue that's putting the longer term interests of the club first. Others of course would argue he's a 'divi'.
I honestly day dream about winning cups, no lie. I'm not sure what I'd do with myself being surrounded by 30'000 Evertonians and Queens We are the Champions, is belted out followed by Z-cars. It couldn't be anymore limbs, I'd self combust with joy.
He provided a that, baring in mind it's the last 90 minutes of the season (so nothing to bring me back down to ground) I'd be hard pushed to come on here and want him out vocally, no mater how much I was goaded.
I've never wanted him and stood to that and took any opportunity to stick it to him, but he provides a cup win then, I'll give him the fist half of the first match next season to get us going.
Can't say fairer than that.
Sorry mate. If he didn't mean it and was just trying to exaggerate his stance, then fair enough. But if he genuinely meant that he would sacrifice a Cup win to get Martinez out a potential 6 months earlier then I disagree. He's a Divi.I think he was scared and trying to make the point that if winning the cup meant Martinez didn't get binned then he would prefer not to win it. Yes and that's why he should go before the semi-final!So winning the Cup is not our #1 priority as a club and fanbase?

Only you could use 1 or 2 people saying it and call it a fan base. FFS.So winning the Cup is not our #1 priority as a club and fanbase?
You see I agree with that. He has to go now, but he won't.No question

*sighs deeply
Well this sums up some of the sheer nonsense we are hearing. Fans have spent a season suggesting the problem is results don't match performance. But it seems we go to Anfield and despite all the tension that brings and the sheer one off uncertainty that defines a derby, we want the players to know that a good performance won't matter without a result and a result won't matter unless it's deserved and without luck. Ignoring the fact that we are owed a whole chunk of luck against them.A fluky underserved 1-1 wont do it.
