In the world outside football, if a listed company had a share price a couple of years ago of £4 and now it was £2, the CEO, assuming of course he was actually still in his job, would be trying to impress analysts with a fully comprehensive turnaround plan.

Where's our CEO's (aka RM) turnaround plan.......stick your head in the sand and hope to god Lukaku keeps scoring?

Have to presume that's happening behind the scenes - and logical to maintain the positive front externally - indeed really the fans should be positive on the terraces if what we want is team success

I don't need to advocate anything - we've already downed tools and have done for two seasons now.

Martinez is the problem - when you have a problem, you need to fix it.
Poor form for 2 years - but not yet downed tools - Chelsea did - sounded like that was being advocated in highlighting the merits of their approach

This is a good example of how most managers are unpopular for emotional / irrational reasons - generally down to affiliation with a rival club or failure to meet unrealistic expectations

Not really mate, he his quite possibly an awful manager. He had one good season and buckled like bobby, with awful decisions and plus he blew a fat wedge of cash on useless footballers

That doesn't mean anything....

Anyway at least we're not in Villas position yet.....

It means I think he's an awful manager mate. He blew £300m and left them no better than when he found them.

Only Suarez put a vaguely respectable tint on his tenure.

I'd weep buckets if we were linked with that fraud.

On the face of it it's self defeating behaviour - unless it results in quick exit of a manager and things subsequently improve. Happened at Chelsea although hasn't improved hugely there performance wise. In any event it does look unprofessional - players like Hazard have been tarnished by it

After losing nine out of sixteen league games, Chelsea sacked José Mourinho. Since Hiddink arrived, the very same squad remains undefeated in the league. That must count as an improved performance!

And Hazard's father has revealed that his poor form is due to a long-term hip injury rather than any refusal to play for Mourinho.

So if we would have beaten premier league sides in each round as opposed to the teams we beat in both cups he would get more credit?

Can only beat who hes drawn against...

"Pitchforks" another reactionary comment...

Im bewildered that you seem so wound up based purely on me saying id give him a summer and see how he does next season.

I think (and others have said the same) that moshiri will be patient and do just that. Im not the reactionary one here, its the opposite.

Nothing to do with your opinion Zat. I've never paid much attention to that.
If you read the post carefully my problem was with your doubting the character of Everton fans.

Of course he would get more credit for beating all prem teams. It would have been a disgrace to not make LC semi with the draw we got and the same in FA cup bar Chelsea
