On the face of it it's self defeating behaviour - unless it results in quick exit of a manager and things subsequently improve. Happened at Chelsea although hasn't improved hugely there performance wise. In any event it does look unprofessional - players like Hazard have been tarnished by it

Chelsea haven't lost in the league since Hiddink took over, isn't that a significant improvement?

If hes making insane comments when the pressure is quite low imagine what it would be like with fans shouting martinez out. Hed be a blubbering school child

They've stabilised but don't feel to me that they've immediately reverted back to the form and aura of emphatic league champions - which is where they were just under a year ago

... but they haven't lost. That's not a coincidence - the players are suddenly performing for a manager and in a system they believe in.

True, although they've been steadily climbing the table. I think they'll spend a fair bit of money in the summer and prob be competing at the top again next season.

In the world outside football, if a listed company had a share price a couple of years ago of £4 and now it was £2, the CEO, assuming of course he was actually still in his job, would be trying to impress analysts with a fully comprehensive turnaround plan.

Where's our CEO's (aka RM) turnaround plan.......stick your head in the sand and hope to god Lukaku keeps scoring?

This would be helped if there was an obvious replacement for Roberto. I guess we'd like to have Pellegrini or Mourinho? There are so many managers who are unpopular for one reason or another. Brendan Rogers is available but wouldn't be popular because he managed Liverpool, Moyes, unfairly, is unpopular because of comments made post his exit (down to his media ineptitude rather than real malice intended) and coming back to poach players (common tactic of managers when they move)

We have more money now so should be going for a top calibre manager. Newcastle attracted Benitez - we should be getting someone with better pedigree than that

Brendan Rodgers wouldn't be popular because he's a chump mate
