The fact that there are a number of supporters that would take losing the semifinal if it guaranteed that Roberto was no longer in charge says it all really.

Who would you assign as caretaker manager I'm interested to know your opinion.

Not sure I'm qualified to answer, but yes if Royle was up for it, Ferguson would be and I suppose Unsworth could be called upon.

At this stage of the season I think it's a question of clearing some heads, and telling the players to go and play for the blue shirt and their futures - can't think of any who would be better suited to deliver that message.

The latest is all we need is time to getting a winning team that plays attractive football!!!

Heavens how much time does he want - notice he did not say!

We are now 14th in the table, disgraceful.

Personally I'd allow royle and Ferguson to take it until we get a big name in, royles experience fergusobs authority and knowledge of new / modern coaching should be enough to see us through imo

Big Joe and Dunc could not possibly do any worse than what is happening now IMO.

We have nowt to lose.

Absolutely nowt.

Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war......again.

We can even get The Farm to cut a new Cup Final song

Everyone wants the best for the club. No doubt. The difference is whether you trust Martinez is the long term answer. For some, two seasons of pathetic results are long enough. Even a cup win, will that be enough to turn things around in the new season? For others, winning the cup overwhelm the manager's weakness including league form. A trophy in 21 years is a sensational achievement.
Personally I think we're in danger of glossing over other problems by thinking sacking the manager is going to make a massive difference right now. But it's all gut feelings either way and I won't go into details or I'll get a dozen people pointing at the league table and saying I must be winding them up.
I may just stay off the net and watch games listening to smokey Robinson on some headphones. Till the cup final is over at least

How do you mean "allowed".

If he wants to fire him no one will be able to stop him even if they wanted to.....which I am willing to bet they don't.

In many ways, Mr. Mo being there makes it easier for our nominal Chairman to fire him as he can do a Pontious Pilate.

Wash his hands and blame the new honcho.
i just dont think he'd realistically sack him unless he lost the semis
