We are four points away from Stoke who are having a 'good season' (according to Sky)
Season is not over by any means. Just we keep shooting ourselves in the foot

How many times have we conceded 3 goals this season. If we carry on , the relegation battle will become real
I have no loyalty to Martinez, my loyalty is to my club Everton, that he is killing with every game.I think he has done well to get 20% here, no doubt it will get closer too. Fair play we have some incredibly loyal fans, Shame it's loyalty to a manager and not Everton winning. Which as proven don't go hand-in-hand.
It's not the age with Howard, some goalkeepers are fine at 39, However, he is rubbish!RM when arriving stated he was going to build the team on youth all those players are 30 or above with contracts!
Howard FGS is contracted till he is 39 years old!
yes and some of those older players are too! It's not the age with Howard, some goalkeepers are fine at 39, However, he is rubbish!
I've not been his biggest fan over the past few months. The team has been letting leads slip and dropping points for too long. My view was to give him until the end of the season.
However, it genuinely feels pathetic that some on here were genuinely giving him a reprieve based on the league cup! I am open to good arguments but if you are jumping to the "out camp" because we got knocked out of that Micky mouse tin pot you need your head testing.
If you want him gone now you should have wanted him gone last week. I don't feel I learned anything tonight that I didn't know already. I'm surprised so many of you seem to have been influenced by that.
Judge an Everton manager over the league not the capital one cup!
Martinez should be worried but not because of tonight
After getting Wigan relegated and getting the Everton job, Martinez must have though his bloody lottery numbers had come up. He is a nice enough guy and will probably make a very good lower league manager but he looks completely clueless at the moment. If only the officials got decisions right. How many excuses ?
Unfotuneatlly it's starting to look like our managers totally out of his depth.
Out for sure. I've never enjoyed watching Everton less. Our style of play is drably boring. That's the main issue for me (along with the defence). He had many faults, but I enjoyed watching a Moyes team play. They had guts, a Plan B, energy, passion. You could see that they played for the manager, and for the badge.
Martinez's team have none of that. Its wishy washy tip-tap [Poor language removed]. I hate it and it completely does my head in. Especially when messing about at the back. I want to throw something at the TV.
Come over to the dark side mate. It tastes sour admittedly, but at least their is hope for the future.Yep I can see that argument. Believing in keeping him would suggest that there's faith long term that he will become a great manager for us. I'm very torn right now.
