Just thinking of different reasons for why a decision may be made to leave at the end of the season - I'm speculating, trying to apply logic rather than it's because Bill has Moshiri locked in the toilets at Wembley still - but I'm assuming when Roberto goes he will take all his coaching staff, or they will be asked to leave also.

That's not an ideal scenario with 4 games of the season left. As I say just a thought, I'm not suggesting that is the case.

Maybe Moshiri is letting Bill save face by going for the mutual consent at the end of the season option.

Martinez being sacked would be a personal humiliation for Bill , even more so being sacked above Bills head

I bet they wont announce anything until after the keep your seat season ticket deadline in early may when they announce a new 5 yr deal for martinez and kone. Everton way that

We'd need this iteration of an Everton side to get 6 points from a possible 12 - or 50% of those available - with Chelsea and Stoke getting none. Or at least, just one of them.

Go and have a look at our form and decide, for yourself, how likely that is.

Not worth gambling this mythical £2m, and certainly not worth giving it to Martinez.
We'll lose more than 2m on Lukaku and Stones valuations this summer with him still here, their prices are dropping with every match he's here.

Supposedly he's just been spotted coming into the ground.

He's going to blow himself up when he asks for one of them "phenomenal hot chocolates" at the tuck shop.

True, however an announcement that RM is leaving at the end of the season "by mutual consent" would take all the heat out of the potentially toxic atmosphere. The Board can sort out severance package in the following weeks, surely?

I'm speculating mate, not saying it will be the end of the season, not saying this is the reason, just that it is a possible explanation, and if it turns out correct everyone can stop hitting F5 on this thread :)

This is the real tragedy. I didn't get any work done today as I've been refreshing every Everton related news page in existence.

Thankfully my boss is a blue so he understands.

Couldn't be a better reason to act now.

Hope big Dunc is kept on when Martinez eventually goes.

I agree and that may be a possible outcome - all speculation currently.
