If wish he'd resign as I think he'd leave with more respect from the fans but as in the corporate world, if you resign you're admitting responsibility.

This. Has there ever been an example of a manager who threw up his hands and resigned, admitting in effect that he couldn't fix the problems he had created or encountered. This is why the Board have to show leadership.

The world has gone mad - having to pay sacked managers compensation completely baffles me. If I was as poor in my job as Martinez is in his I would be out the door with nothing.

@The Esk while I wholeheartedly believe what you've been mentioning recently, I'm not sure what would happen if you were eventually incorrect.

Hundreds, if not thousands of Evertonians, continue to patiently wait for your insightful perspective of the current inner workings of the club.

Let's be honest the man's not gonna resign is he and why should he, he'd be basically admitting he's not up to the job," which he ain't," so the board new to step up or ride it out till the end of the season, which won't be good for the whole club whatsoever!

Sorry mate, but saying you'll stop supporting altogether if things don't improve just because your not from Liverpool.... That sucks mate !

Are you a blue? .... Or are you going to start following Leicester FFS
Soo far i can tell you what I am not.
Im not a fan of pour judgment and passive behaviour from the board.

This is also part of the concept of being a "Blue".

Too tell you the truth, I can easily live without the daily frustration, that Everton is causing, me at the moment.

Since the board came up with the new crest (Fisher price crest), it has been down hill, in some phony way.

What can I say, I lost interest in the last few days.

I do not have anything against Leichester, but i figure I will begin too support my own town, if Martinez stay.

Everton used too be full of ambitions, but lately not soo much.

I'll tell you all exactly how it will go.

Bill Kenwright will do an emotional interview for the tv cameras on Friday, opening up about how great a guy Martinez is and how he deserves another season. This attempt to calm fan unrest will also be covered in the now annual Martin 'In case of emergency or Everton Fan Unrest, break glass and publish a pro-Kenwright agenda to keep the plebs in place and the status quo the same' Samuels column in the Daily Mail.

The club will 'fear the worst', and let everyone of their mates in the media know that they are 'fearing the worst', so they'll build up so that it will appear to be a let down. Classic Everton board B.S. tactics, been used so many times over the years.
