My only concern right now is what if we lose on Saturday?
To lose both games last week after the form we are in, not even mention his job is on the line in any form and then go and lose the next game will just look terrible on the club.
The fans won't be happy at the board who for all intents and purposes are planning for a future away from the current manager and the media will use the club as a laughing stock for the fact it appears he is not losing his job.
I think it's more to do with getting publicity and the message noticed by the press. It's a pointless gesture.
I seriously doubt an airplane message ever made a difference at board level anywhere.
We've all seen this haven't we?

Absolutely frightening statistics, I can't believe the easy time from the media he's had to be honest. It's only in the last week or so they've cottoned on to how bad it is. We really must be irrelevant.

Lob them at the plane?

Maybe. Let's just do nothing then..
If he's still manager in August, we're getting relegated.
It's a pointless gesture.

That's a fairly simplistic view, if I may say.It's a pointless gesture.

I doubt our new majority shareholder needs to be influenced by the media to come to a conclusion about the inadequacy of Bobby.I think it's more to do with getting publicity and the message noticed by the press.
lol lolLob them at the plane?
That's a fairly simplistic view, if I may say.
It's not about the board reading the banner and changing their minds as a result.
It's about press coverage. It gets people talking about it in local and national media. It adds momentum to the 'Martinez Out' narrative that's only been building in the wider football consciousness for a week or so.
As silly as it may seem superficially, it's far less 'pointless' than all the conversations we're having on here about Martinez.
