What support exactly does him want him to give.
The manager has a handpicked staff around him, he makes the calls about signing and selling players.
There has been a limited budget but I think this manager and the previous one were never in doubt about what was available.

The chairman generally stays away from team matters and has consistently been praised by RM and DM before him.

That's the sort of hopeful speculation I want from this thread!

Be boss if he knew whether there are any programme notes expected from him tomorrow...

He's on page 4 taking about the Hillsborough disaster etc, just seen it in Everton 2... dunno if that signifies anything or what, could've been planned and printed before any major decisions were made, which I'm presuming is the case if today's meeting rumours are true.

Feel this week in the Martinez discussion thread needs retelling in Cat GIFS.

It starts badly Saturday evening.

Sunday, we were all out for him.

Monday, we just couldn't stop F5'ing.

Tuesday and Wednesday, we were just waiting.

Then we saw the press conference Thursday morning.

Roberto meanwhile was thinking about what a great season we have had.

And by Friday, nearly everyone had given up. Screw it, we'll wait til the end of the season.
