I don't think they do mate but it's rather some peoples assumption that if you don't support Bobby then you don't support Everton.

I've been supporting us over 40 years and never have a seen one man cause such a divide in the fan base. Don't mean just online but this is in work, in the pub, family etc.

Good point, willo.

I never thought of that.

At first it was only the partisans in here but now it is spreading all around Evertonia.

Just read what Moshiri has to say in the programme. Great football and good luck for the game against Chelsea.

He has only been with the club a few weeks and he is more of an Evertonian than quite a few of you on here!! You know, the ones that want us to get beat tomorrow so Martinez gets sacked. The ones that wanted the likes of Benitez or turncoat Moyes to manage us again.

Hang your heads in shame and don't even watch the game tomorrow, leave that the true blues who want us to win.
Could you please not attempt to wind people up?

Thanks. I'm afraid this is a threadban.

I want us to win every game for the rest of the season. I want the manager to see us go 2 goals ahead and change the shape of the team so we defend from the front and protect a lead. I want the manager to improve and prove to everyone that he has what it takes, because he is a nice bloke who plays attractive football. I suspect this is what most people want.

I have no idea what message you are trying to convey there but know this.

Last week's fiasco unfolded in front of a full Goodison Park which was raucous and very indignant after seeing us reduced to ten men after twenty odd minutes.

Any anger in the first 80 odd minutes was directed at the referee and the booing was for Noble.

The ten men were being roared on at a high decibel level.

Martinez brought the house crashing down around himself the minute he stood up and chucked an extra attacker on.

It was bugger all to do with those of us sat sitting in the ground, the much maligned paying customers who have been traduced by people like your good self on this forum all season for daring to express their dissatisfaction at certain things they see on the pitch, most notably the unreasonable adherence to a goalkeeoer who was costing us goal after goal.

The myth was shattered last week.

Bobby took a ten gauge shotgun and blasted himself in the foot without any assistance from us.

So please stop blaming us.
Don't know how what you've posted is relevant to what I've said but if it helps you to keep repeating that the fans aren't to blame to someone who hasn't said that then fair enough.
You seem to have decided you are a model fan and anyone who disagrees with you isn't. You are entitled to express dissatisfaction. What you're not entitled to do is place yourself on a pedestal and assume that's the end of any debate on the manager.
I suspect if you want to swap levels of passion of 'people like myself' over you poor put upon paying customers then you may be on dodgy ground. I might be wrong but I suspect not. But I can assure you that trying to shut people up because you're always right is not passion.
I want to see a passionate crowd tomorrow. If you think that's you being picked on then have a bit of a think.

Agreed - uniform position on Smith by the end, gradual drift across Moyes era, all against Walker etc.

It's a weird one, as he isn't a divisive figure as such, but I think he has created a huge polarisation of opinions all the same.

I thought the Moshiri statement looked very much internally drafted by the usual suspects; wistful references to the past and all, the calling card of Boys Pen Bill. The fact that there is a throw-away comment about about 'Roberto and the boys' would actually suggest Martinez is beginning to lose the support from the top. 'Winning matches' has been left in there for a reason - at a time when we are 4 wins from 15 league games!

Subtle but pretty interesting.

That's the only one mate, and he quantifies it later. I didn't for a second think ijjy was going to quote anything though, I suspect he was doing what a few of the posters did to the last thread.
Yes he did explain what he meant later. Can't remember what it was though but can't have been bad if I've forgotten it already.

We'll lose this one, and to be fair it'll be good for us in the long run as it will force a change. COME ON CHELSEA!

Love to see the smile wiped off Martinez face this weekend as he moves a step closer to the exit, bye bye.

I'd let John Terry shag my missus if he knocked in a back post header and got Martinez sacked in the process

Martinez Out! Come on Chelsea, true blues.

ACTIVATE: Chelsea Victory
