It's 5am mate?So it's now the day after and once again he still hasn't been sacked... This is just pathetic from everyone involved.
It's 5am mate?
Tbh they could've released a statement 2 weeks ago. I doubt that they will release one at midnight after a game, especially an away game, though.Exactly they could have easily released a statement last night.
I think we'll see the usual "Everton and Roberto Martinez have decided to part ways by way of mutual consent. The club would like to thank Roberto for his 3 years at the club and wish him the best of luck on his future endeavors" type of statement after Norwich, possibly next Monday.
I've worked out their plan. They leave him in place for Sunday, when, in front of a viewing public and cameras as well as potential replacement managers, Martinez recieves the business end of some seriously angry fume.
Any potential replacements are thus put off and the board issue a statement saying Roberto is the only manager willing to do the job, carry on Bob.
That's worth bearing in mind for Sunday and why I advocate absolute silence or to just leave quietly.
I like your optimism, however if it's not announced before he will be booooed and told to remove himself in no uncertain termsThey're not going to sack him before Norwich out of respect. Yes, things are bad and he has to go, but we have nothing to play for and there's one game left of the season. They'll just let it peter out and let him go after that. We're not as fecking classless as Man City who couldn't even stay to show their manager some respect after winning them numerous trophies the last few years. Martinez has lost the plot but he still gave us our best ever season in a long time, and I think they'll respect that by parting with him after the final game.
