Awesome, lid.
Love it when you imagine you have power.
How do you know mate?

And now we have fans who think an FA cup semi final is nothing special
Is a birthday any less special because it happens once a year?2002-03 Quarter Finalists.

True it's more significant than a Quarter Finalist but it's hardly a milestone in the clubs recent history.

...how isn't reaching the latter stages of a cup significant, yet presumably for you securing 5th or 6th in the league is?
Wel, you live and learn mate. Who could have thought their freak season would persist?
That said, we should have won that day and would have done if the officials had done their jobs.
sniffing at it.
Who said I'm sniffing at it. Don't put words in my mouth just because it doesn't suit your narrative. I'm just pointing out an historical record.
It's interesting the situation with Martinez and Moshiri. I dont think he's in any position to really unseat Martinez in the short term, as BK is obviously still backing RM in a big way. If money is spent in the summer though and results aren't all that by the autumn, he might start flexing his financial muscle round L4.
I think this kind of patience would be admirable. Give the current manager who has a good eye for a player and who can point to some progress one more season with good funds to show what he can do. If we are bottom half at Christmas, pull the plug.Yea, I agree, well, up to a point.
I very much doubt he'd change anything in the Autumn. The earliest he'd start to worry would be Christmas, and even then, I think Roberto's job is, ( barring a really poor first half of the season ) safe for 2016/17.
I'd say May 2017 is the crunch point for Roberto. If progress in the league isn't to Moshiri's satisfaction then Roberto will be out of a job. Cups are great for us fans, but I can't Moshiri effectively buying us in the hope of getting the odd cup, he'll have Champions League in his sights.
Yes, but dont forget, it's been the classic route of 'backed cliubs' like Chelsea and City (winning a domestic trophy prior to CL presence). I doubt anyone in the 'nu Everton' will be turning their noses up at silverware of any description. But yes, fast forward 12 months and we're not in touching distance of a CL place after major cash is spent in the summer and January, then there'd be no hiding place.Yea, I agree, well, up to a point.

Sorry lads it's over. I'll doff my cap to the intensity and frenzy of the anti Martinez campaign but it turns out you're just spotty virgins fuming at Everton for not halting your self loathing on the weekend lads.http://www.evertonfc.com/evertontv/archive/2016/03/13/exclusive-interview?logged=in
