Well I didn't say that as I think our approach has changed game to game. Personnel obviously changes. Just don't think anything was radically different or even that it was close to being our best performance of the season. Loved it and I'm proud of them but I don't have to write history to pretend I'm never wrong.
Appreciate some people need to pretend their over the top reaction to West Ham game was somehow responsible for a sea change so fair enough.
Anyway I'll hold tight as the swarm of public opinion rallies behind you on this one.

How about the fact that we played a lot higher up the field and pressed their defensive line a lot more, trying to win back possession rather than invite pressure.

So yeah, kinda different approach to anything else we've witnessed this season, in fact something that has been annoying a lot of people i.e. pressing

Hit the nail on the head Mate.

Martinez must have been reading your posts mate

Remember us pressing high up the pitch in quite a few games. If we don't we usually allow space and press nearer our own area. Usually depends on who we are playing and where they look to attack. We haven't tended to do it for a full game and didn't on Saturday. Fitness and personnel is key. Lennon and Cleverley are comfortable doing it further up the pitch. Kone was too.
Weirdly enough managers do set up hoping to win. And key word is hoping. There's always a way round any system if you're good enough.

I think we pressed once, against spurs in the second half at goodison. That was totally different on Saturday, not only where the attack high up but the so were the midfield and defence, really compressed the space for Chelsea. Obviously they found holes when we backed off and tried to catch our breath but in general I was pleasantly surprised

We've pressed high in a number of games. There was a lot of grit to go with it but it mattered to them more than the pressure. That's what was most pleasing

The new owner doesn't look even remotely uncomfortable eh? Not an expert on body language but 'awkward' is probably appropriate.

Further confirms that just like Moyes, Martinez is under zero pressure whilst BK is around. Fortunately it's only a matter of time until Kenwright is gone.

Welcome Mr Moshiri.
Absolutely grasping at straws here, but watching the video yesterday a couple of times, the only time Mr Moshiri doesn't seem to nod or smile with one of Bill's fluff points is when he makes that ridiculous Martinez comment. Blank stare downwards....

Vardy will be working in a chipper as soon as they find out he's being fuelled almost entirely by cocaine.
Not true! The shape of his head (and particularly his nose and chin) is an evolutionary milestone and allows him run faster at defenders

Well I certainly can't remember it like that, and u think the majority are the same. If you think they have then fair play, opinions differ
Not 100% about this but it seemed to me early this season/late last season Martinez decided to use another style of play (counter) sometimes, instead of his possession based style which is fine, but to sit back on your own 18 with no pressure on the football is suicide hence our poor defensive displays in many games this year. That and a **** goalie.
