One week brilliant, the next poor.

That's what happens with a developing team.

We have to write this one off and go again.
delusion. he's not building anything. We have 5 internationals to pick from for defense and have conceded more goals than anyone in the top 6 european leagues. How long does he get before you change your view? Three years, five years, a decade? Get a clue here, even if RM does figure out the defense (he won't), there is the glaring problem of mental strength; the biggest problem in Martinez' teams. Even his best season showed this weakness. Players that could see a game out under Moyes have lost that ability entirely. The frustration that this team displays when things don't go their way after 20 mins is childish and consistent with a lack of mental strength. I don't know who to bring in, but RM has got to go at the end of the season, even if he wins the FA Cup.

@davek your reminding me of the band on the titanic, keeping on playing the same old tune as a big [Poor language removed] off hole appears in the ship and it starts sinking, but hey at least we are entertaining, 8 times this season the away fans have been absolutely [Poor language removed] entertained with getting 3 points at Goodison.

Martinez out, he is a relagation calibre manager and his record shows it
I'm giving you the facts mate. He's here and he's here for some time to come. Care to contradict that assertion?

Look, the fume is understandable. However, it changes NOTHING.

We have a Wembley date and we've had a strong cup season this time around. The Pl position is woeful, but it'll be taken by those in control as something that HAS to be rectified next season....but there WILL be a next season for Martinez at Everton.

Struggle against that all you like, and abuse me all you wish, that is the cast iron certainty we're looking at.

...whatsmore - you know it.
It's nailed on. It is going to be a very bitter relationship between sections of the fans and Martinez moving forward with these results though and people are still going to blow off steam but it won't change between now and August.

Today's performance was bad. It's not all on Martinez, the Everton players were second to every ball, lots of bad passing and loss of possession and showed no teeth except for Coleman after the 80th minute. Move on to the next match.

Chelsea are the only team we have beaten in the cup who were of any kind of decent level and even they are having their worst season in years.

Stop using cup runs against nothing teams to justify this pathetic managerial reign

We lost to Arsenal. I have forgotten how we used to batter them before Martinez showed up.

Yes this was clearly a one off. The lads gave it their all, the tactics were spot on and we were just unfortunate. Now to spank whoever we play next at fortress Goodison.
