We're a utter joke other teams laugh at us, the media see Martinez as a joke

He has had long enough last season was his learning curve and he hasn't done it.

We need a proper manager a winner not this.

......sigh

Losing against arsenal isn't an issue for me. They are better than us so not arsed if they best us. The performance was just terrible though.

Tactically we were shocking today as well , no fight and had no chance in winning the game from the get go. Look at the formation when the game ended...

3 defenders, Colman Baines del out wide, 2 in the middle and Lennon up front . What is that? How on earth was that meant to win the game?

Sadly we are still falling in the league and as I said 12 months ago , its the fact that the bottom teams are so terrible that we aren't in more danger here.

2 seasons of this, a club with any ambition would not settle for that. Simply put, how can you expect success from a manager who consistently doesn't get results?

You implied that we show that inconsistency regularly. When in reality we all know it's about 20% brilliant and 80% average to utter crap.

Every chance we could finish a league season in 15th with a £50m rated striker up front and a squad full of internationals.

Utterly pathetic, as is your pigheaded refusal to admit it is totally unacceptable. You care more about being right and defending him than actually looking out for Everton FC.
You didn't factor in the cup runs...last time I checked everyone was very excited about them and even hoping we rest all our players for the SF....now there's a fume because we lost another league game.

As I said above: if there's consistency I'll respect it. I dont see it, so it's just a an irrational fume as far as I'm concerned.

Whine away though. See who's in charge in August next season.

Home form's been appalling this season. Away we've been decent and in the cups we've been good. It's infuriating that we can't find any consistency. Today Arsenal would have beaten pretty much anyone in the league today, mind. They were pretty much faultless and the first goal was sublime.

He simply has to win the FA cup now as the league probably won't be a mitigating factor for him come May when we should review his position.

I find it pathetic that the bloke spends most of his life simply winding fellow Everton fans up on a forum. Lad needs another hobby.

Would anybody defending Roberto Martinez today please give me a reason as to why he is the right man leading our club?

Would you rather have some oafish lout in the mould of Sam Allardyce representing our club? Or a speccy hipster who probably listens to Europop in his spare time, such as Klopp? Or how about Tony Pulis? He hasn't got any dress sense! He dresses like a League Two fan! Wenger is no sex icon FFS! You lads need to have a word with yourselves. We've got the most stylish, on-trend manager in the league! There's my reason for you - Martinez has superb dress sense.

No, I dont think that's going to be the conclusion drawn by those who run the club. You heard what they said last week. A loss against Arsenal isn't going to change matters.

The owners appear to accept his view that the squad is in a developmental stage and they're going with that given the cup exploits this season.

It's a poor result again. but we know it'll all go quiet after the next win.

In short: a lot of fume (again) same result: RM still Everton manager and continuing to be so next season.

Well I am sure those who run the club won't tell the whole story in public. I hope the new boss will set a target and failing to do so Martinez has to face the inevitable sack. Most of the fan base, in my opinion have run out of patience. 21 wins out of 67 this is way worse than poor. People will not go quiet because the league form in non defendable. It is the FA Cup that will safe Martinez's job. No wonder the Goodison faithful fume.

He'll be gone, he's the lost crowd. We are always agitated and frustrated at home, anxious if leading and the game is coming to an end.

That's proof the crowd has been lost in the league games. The big boys in the directors box know this, BK saving face last week trying publicly defend him

Big Mush calls the shots now

I'm giving you the facts mate. He's here and he's here for some time to come. Care to contradict that assertion?
You're advocating sticking with a failure of a manager who's taken a brilliant squad into the bottom half of the league.

All you're left with now is that Kenwright tends to give managers time, this guy doesn't deserve any more time, he's failed for the second season running in his core objective - the PL

The summer is the time for change this bloke simply isn't up to the job and he's well out of his depth at Everton
