develoing a team, pffft

only 3 players werent bought buy him in that starting line up. And all have played under him either last year or previous years, including cleverly.

excuses excuses excuses

not good enough

Of course he'll be here. There's a difference between accepting and wanting that to be the case though.

People aren't stupid; we all know he won't be sacked unless we lose pretty much every game from here on in.

Yeah, but people were far more optimistic after last week against Chelsea. No calls for his head, toys firmly in pram. The hysterics that follow every defeat are ludicrous. No doubt, all his eggs are in the FA Cup, but there's certainly no reason we can't go all the way in that under this manager

Genuine question.

What could he achieve with the fans supporting him instead of the constant negativity being displayed here?

so basically dave if we went on to lose every game this season thats left in the league and manage to win the cup, you'd think that was fine and martinez should keep his job
He can lose them all. He will keep his job. He will also be given money to spend, lots of it, in the summer. Accept this and get behind both the team AND the manager.

It's this kind of negativity that drains the life out of the players every time they step foot onto Goodison.

We are all blues here mate and want to win every game we play.

That kid was questioning me because I don't like what I see on the pitch and the results. So I guess he is satisfied with it coz he thinks we are still re-building after three seasons.

Said before the game even if , and I hope we do win the cup, he has to go ; he isnt developing anything , a list of good players on paper doesn't make a good team, we arnt the record shows that and we are not improving.
I would sack him right now , he is out of his depth , mike walker mark 2
He has had enough chances time to go.

Boxing Day 2013 - a victory over Sunderland and we would have gone a full calendar year without being beaten at home. Osman and Howard fanny about with the ball, we concede a penalty, Howard gets sent off, and we get beaten, and we've been broken at home pretty much since. There's been odd good or great results, but they're becoming a less and less frequent high point in a series of defeats. We've now gone almost a full calendar year with only 4 home league wins.

I said a couple of weeks ago that despite the false dawns, I wanted to give him time and to do better, however it's one false dawn too many now. We've lost twice as many at home this season as we've won. He's not learning any lessons - why didn't we go at them, hassle them and close them down like we did against Chelsea?

I've given him every chance, but I can't support him any more. He maybe deserves the Wembley game, but any more defeats between now and the and that should be curtains for him. But I could totally understand if he was sacked tonight.

Are you suggesting people complaining after defeats on an Internet forum affects what he could achieve? Is that actually the question?
