That would be obviously fine. Because the league doesn't matter anymore.

FFS, anyone who doesn't think us losing all our remaning league games and winning the fa cup would be the best thing to happen to this club in over 20 years doesn't understand football.

We've been hearing "it's a results business" a lot this year.

First trophy in 21 years and European football secured would be the best "result" from a season since 1995. That's still very much possible.

yeah would ensure we where an attractive club for and players we went after and would ensure we kept hold of players that would

likes of birmingham, portsmouth, wigan etc would all no doubt agree with you though

That's missing the point.

At this stage, we have all written off the league in favour of winning the FA Cup. But that doesn't make it right. We'd still be stuck with a manager who is setting records for amount of goals conceded, most defeats at home in a season etc.

I don't know why people are so accepting of mediocrity. Would you expect any top club to sacrifice their dignity and happily lose 8 league games to secure a possible FA Cup win? No - they'd want to win the cup and do as well as they can in the league.

Clueless here Martinez, 3 at he back, no Bobby.

You know in Aliens where that commander fella is watching his squad get minced and he's just frozen in his chair with his gob open, Ripley screaming do something?

That's Bobby today.

Brilliant this. We are like Hudson fuming all the time. 'Game over man game over'.

The superior team found space and played to our weaknesses with ease. They have much better players that cost a few bob. They are a much better team and they are something we have to aim for now we have a little dosh. Big summer for Martinez to buy ready made players rather than potential. In a few years I am hoping we have a team established consistent players rather than hit and miss players.

It's delusional to blame the crowd!!! What are they supposed to do? They are treated to pitful performances week in week out, bar a few exceptions. It's not easy to just forget last week and move on. If we keep losing games both players and fans will feel the negativity!
You can see the life drain out of the players as soon as there's a misplaced pass and the whole ground sighs and then the confidence is gone. The players feel the negativity. It's bound to affect them. They're not robots.

Confidence is a massive part of football, but to blame 2 seasons of poor results on that is pushing it a tad.
