show me where i said after the chelsea game that he will be here until next christmas no matter what Dave?

will be waiting to see this post of mine
Same question differently put: when we beat Chelsea then heard Kenwright's words did you think "Martinez wont be here next season?"

I somehow doubt it.

...all pov established in spades though.

There's two (hopefully) games that really matter. Neither of them were this one against Arsenal. A SF and a final are the priority. No one in history will be remotely arsed if Everton were beaten by Arsenal at home in a meaningless game if we are cup winners in 2016.

Grasp the bigger picture. It was grasped on this forum right up to yesterday, but now seems to have been conveniently forgotten - funny that.

Haha. YOU grasp the big picture! Life doesn't end at the conclusion of this season. No Evertonian in their right mind would relish next season with Martinez in charge, FA Cup win or not. He's clearly out of his depth and will get us relegated given enough time.

very very poor. Almost nothing to take as a positive in the entire 90 minutes. Virtually nothing of note in the entire game - I missed Coleman hitting the post. Lennon was our best player by a country mile and the rest.. hmm ok the defence weren't terrible but the midfield (Lennon apart) were awful. Maybe losing to a good side is understandable - but one with a horrific injury list, a bad run of form and a tough week behind them is dreadful and the manner of the defeat is disheartening.

Anyone notice how scarily similar we are to Villa last season?
  • Terrible manager
  • Can't defend to save our lives
  • Had a great run in the FA Cup and made it to the final
  • Escaping the relegation zone by having a top striker
  • Players showed absolutely 0 passion and desire today.
