I have been prepared to wait and give the manager a chance, odd situation at home vs an outstanding away record. Today however was totally unacceptable both in team motivation and first half not knowing how to stop the Arsenal charge. The cup will bide some time but this home record simply has to improve - we have a fundamental flaw in our games at Goodison that he has to resolve. Even a cup win may not save him if we finish below 10th - our new invester I feel will show little patience....all pov established in spades though.
There's two (hopefully) games that really matter. Neither of them were this one against Arsenal. A SF and a final are the priority. No one in history will be remotely arsed if Everton were beaten by Arsenal at home in a meaningless game if we are cup winners in 2016.
Grasp the bigger picture. It was grasped on this forum right up to yesterday, but now seems to have been conveniently forgotten - funny that.
