The truth is we are getting worse each season, I have never been less arsed about Everton in my life, it's hopeless thinking we are suddenly going to click, how many times can we look at something and expect it to completely change, we are getting closer and closer to relegation with every season and don't forget that we have been adding players and not selling players.

I think the board may have to make a serious decision in the summer because if they don't, looking at the way we've been declining season after season, we could very well be saying goodbye to the prem and doing a Villa.

spot on. It amazes me now little I'm bothered by an Everton loss now. It used to ruin my weekend (and week sometimes!) but it's so expected now.

Please can someone tell me what I can type to cause the most fume amongst you.

Thanks.
I'll do it for you mate...

yes i totally believe Kenwright mate, since when did you start to believe him anyway LOL, plus Kenwright can say what he wants Moshiri makes the calls - you don't realise that yet?
....that's just wishful thinking in the short term. If he wanted to make the football decisions he'd have walked away if Kenwright made it a stipulation of selling shares to him.

It really is incredible how a result can change viewpoints. That's football I suppose. Fickle to the core.

Imagine we get to a final at the end of next month. Do you really think the vast majority of Everton supporters are going to look back at a league campaign that didn't get us a CL spot (for a change!) and feel they want to get rid of the manager?

Not a bit of it.

There's money to be spent (apparently) and Martinez wont be leaving without the new owner giving him at least the chance to get next season off to a good start.

If they [new owner etc] were thinking of getting rid of him, will winning the fa cup change there minds and give him another season ?

Martinez:

"We have never performed in this manner," Martinez said after the game. "We were second best. I thought Arsenal had a bigger bite and more intensity. We looked like the team who’d had an extra game so it was so disappointing in contrast to the performance seven days ago."

“We had a big player missing, Gareth Barry is someone that gives you something extra but that is not an excuse.
“We never got a platform in the game and we were ineffective with the things we were usually good at. Arsenal were better than us in every aspect of the performance."

“When you lose the ball so quickly, you leave yourself open and we never looked like being able to cope with the movement of Arsenal," the Catalan continued by way of explanation for his decision to withdraw the disappointing Muhamed Besic for John Stones at half time. "I thought an extra man in a deeper position could help us."

“But, it wasn’t enough to get us into the game – you have to compete and show the intensity that we had seven days ago.”

Watford losing 2-0 now. We're staying in 12th, get in!

What a result ... When we broke our record and paid 28 mil for a striker combined with internationals in our defence
I fully expected to rely on other teams results to keep us in the top half of the bottom half ... `phenomenal`
