There is no way on this earth Moyes is being brought back.

Will be honest mate, i am [Poor language removed] furious with that Interview, takes credit for everything that happened at Swanse after he left, completey swerves all responsibility for what happened at Wigan after he left, and makes it sound like he was gutted to leave them, he jumpred at a big fat contract at Everton rather than stay, his choice no one forced him, but apparently he was frustrated that what he started he couldnt see to fruition their, errm they where a prem team when he joined for a few years in a row, he left them in the championship - great job

results don't matter... REALLY?

as for building football clubs - seriously he has in that sentence just compared us with Swansea and Wigan as a job - what a [Poor language removed] ego he has, as for saying he doesn blame others - since when has he ever taken any responsibility himself - [Poor language removed] hypocrite, sack him and sack him now - let him go build some little team in the lower leagues - my guess is he will spend 4 years with a team in a championship - fail to get them promoted - a new manager will take over that team and get up first time of asking - fraud of a manager

He's hit rock bottom over the last few months, he's gone from someone who I thought was a decent likeable bloke to a belittling lying horrible blame shifting con man, he said yesterday that we've never performed as bad as that, haha does he think we are all stupid and blind, last season we had games were we didn't have one shot at goal, I was at the Swansea home game last season and the only effort we had at goal was a 20 yard shot from Gareth Barry that must have travelled about 3 miles an hour straight into the goalies hands, he is an awful person in my eyes now, I think he's burnt his bridges and won't be here next season

The standard is so low there. Little plucky Everton. Seriously a cup final can make up 2 seasons of crap? 31% winning rate and 4 home wins with 3 games to go? I think most fans won't accept this. 11th and on course of a 12th place trophy. I don't want further regression. Enough is enough unless he wins the cup. And he still has not fixed the league form and no sign of getting it fixed.
i think i will pull back my words a bit...reaching to the final wouldnt automatically give amnesty to him.

Yes, I agree, but I'm not sure that their is any coming back from that with the fans. They won't forget. Also I'm no fan of Martinez I know their WILL BE repercussions for this shambolic season.

I'd be gutted if Moyes came back. But not as Gutted as id be if Martinez stayed.

I'll rather have moyes back then Martinez stay another season, that's how bad things are.

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion I respect that. I mean for the good of the club shall we accept a season like this and the last one in August? That is the issue.

I dunno. Some bulbs threw Benitez' name as a replacement the other month so I don't think it'd be a big deal if Moyes came back.

A large chunk of players played under him, the majority of the back room worked under him. It'd be an easy transition.

Personally want De Bore but getting Moyes back wouldn't be the end of the world. Especially when whoever would come in will have upwards of £50+million to spend (just of 1 player sale)

It's more coming from the view point of there is no way he would be sacked if we won the cup, so I may aswell get behind him, and I wouldnt be able to control myself if we won't a cup. But at the same time if I turned SSN on now and it was breaking he had gone I'd be made up. I'm disgusted by this league performance and he shouldn't be here. Whereas you want to allow him to fail before acknowledging that you've had enough of him.

This is why it is important he is fired before even the semi final.

The closer we get to winning the cup, or actually winning it, the more difficult it becomes to fire him.

And if he is fired anyway, which I suspect he will be, the new man will taking over what is perceived to be a successful club and the bar of expectation is raised for him.....see wee Davey taking over at the league champions.

We need tha fanbase united right now.

But at the moment there is a division.

On the one hand there are those of us who would give a kidney to see Jags hoist the trophy aloft in May no matter what.

Then there are other chaps who opine, with some justification it must be said, the a Cup win could we'll be a Pyrrhic victory in that it buys Bobby more time to bring us down the table next season with his failed philosophyball.

Bin Bobby now......and every last one of us is four square with a caretaker manager (big Joe ?) as we focus on winning the Cup.

Then move heaven and earth to fetch in a top coach in the summer.

I can't believe how quietly @BlueToff moved over. Respect to him for not being so entrenched that a change of mind was impossible given the facts in front of us.

We need @Prevenger17 to make the switch then go for the kingpin.

lol I've already laid out my position on numerous occasions. I'm 100% pro Martinez between now and the end of the season, 100% flexible on him as soon as it's over and 4,000,000% going to vault the hell out of you and Ian as soon as we win the FA Cup.

Really though, I was deeply unhappy with the way we lost yesterday, but Martinez has my full support until the end of the season no matter what. I don't see the point in changing now and he has absolutely earned the right to see out what could end up being a great season for us. And I mean that.

I'm not stupid, the home form is the reason he's under pressure, and I can certainly understand frustrations. You support a team that plays pretty much every week in a season: The more you win, the happier you are, vice versa the more you lose. Those feelings are magnified a thousand times over if you've bought a season ticket and aren't getting a decent emotional return on your investment every two weeks or so.

But I only care about Everton winning a trophy. I've wanted it ever since I started supporting Everton and I've never witnessed it as an Everton fan. If we're going to bang on about Martinez' tenure with Wigan, that's fine, because he won something with them and has given a very good account of himself in knockout tournaments with us. I really think he can do it, and that would honestly be one the happiest moments of my adult life. League wins are fleeting and transient, I would remember us winning an FA Cup forever.

Criticizing him is fine, but to see people call him names, question his integrity and start finding something wrong with everything he does or says (someone criticised the way he stood on the sidelines the other day FFS) seems utterly crazy to me generally, and even moreso when we are on the cusp of opening our trophy cabinet for the first time in 21 years.
