He most certainly is a blue. Have a word, you've been here 5 minutes, Dave's been here since the start or close to it.
How do you know?

Davek seems to be able to logically deny anything based on his current contributions. Can you verify he's a blue based on personal knowledge?

You should know, you can spot if someone is a player or not after 5 minutes. I mean, writing Naisse off, that's some talent.
I'll take that as a no.
Wait and see and I'll be proven right re Niasse.
Probably because I've been talking Everton with him for over 6 years and you've been chatting utter pony for 6 minutes.

"Other managers are consistency producing more than can be expected". Consistently? Two of the three teams managers you listed have been with their clubs one season. The other one has had one good season out of two. Using that measuring rod you'd no doubt have described Martinez's first season in charge as evidence that he was making Everton more than the sum of their parts and therefore fit for purpose in the PL....attributes you deny him now.Dave you keep attributing things to me that I've never stated. Anyway, regardless....
Consistently I have said we are the lesser of the sum of the parts, whereas Spurs, Leicester and West Ham are producing performances and results greater than the sum of their parts.
That's the greatest condemnation of Martinez' tenure - he's producing less than can be reasonably expected whilst other managers are consistently producing more than can be reasonably expected.
Re " lack of skills" it is self apparent that Martinez does not possess the technical defensive skills expected of a competing premier league team. In addition it is becoming more apparent he does not possess the abilities to prepare a team mentally for the demands of the Premier League.
Expectations are high because of the potential this group of players represent. That expectation can only increase now we have an investor/largest shareholder who is prepared to invest in the team - an owner who has been frustrated by Arsenal's ability to kick on - he will not want a similar experience at Everton.
Martinez is a fine man, but he does not possess the skills to meet our future requirements.
Do you think he has anything approaching a tenable argument? A lot of his posts seem pretty disingenuous.

Just another example of how this critique isn't being thought through rigorously.
It's pretty disappointing, I have to say.
Logic and consistency. I don't think it's too much to ask for when debating the pros and cons of an Everton manager's tenure. In its place we have irrational responses and opportunism.

Because he disagrees with you and many others doesn't mean that he's not a blue.
What if I said you weren't a Blue because you didn't rate Naisse? Think about it.
Martinez and stuff though hey?
I don't mind people disageeing and arguing it out (see Niasse thread - always happy to debate) but without going all Rafael Benetiz he seems to ignore the facts and deliberately misquote people.
He said that 15th is as good as finishing 5th.
