Fact is, fume is high enough to stun a rhino at 12 paces (wonderful turn of a phrase, I appreciate that) after the majority of our games.

The same problems keep happening. Eventually you have to admit you were wrong, and do your best to rectify that mistake. We have talent in this squad. Not title-winning talent (regardless of what the most ardent anti-Martinezites would have you believe) but talent that should be doing better than we have for long stretches of this season while still making mistakes and developing. The problem is that we have these huge gaps in our team due to the way we set up. We require magic from one of our magicians. And for our defense to not balls it all up - again.

And most worrying - this is the actual thing that everyone worried about when he was hired. This isn't some blip. The 5th place finish with the solid defense is the blip on his coaching record.

We need to strike while we have the talent.
