There's sorts of things you'd only really notice if you were at the game and could see the whole pitch. Like when the opposition break from our attack and we're all over the place, Barkley filling in at centre back, Funes Mori up on the right wing, Cleverley and McCarthy up front. The organisation is absolutely shocking, everyone then starts to panic and make mistakes, fluff clearances, give the ball away. It all stems from being so disorganised, which is absolutely a coaching issue. No one knows their roles or responsibilities when we come to defend
Yep, all that...
...it's weird innit. I sometimes sit there, baffled, come home, throw this on and go 'Pfffff....' And I'd NEVER knock anyone unable to go the games...ever, whether by distance, circumstance, choice...whatever & no matter, we're all blues and all entitled to our opinion, here, there or otherwise. But sometimes I just genuinely, overwhelmingly feel that some of the stuff you pick up at the ground in compare to what's on a feed/TV/radio...well, you just don't get the whole dynamic do you? Even player reactions at times, LENNON a few weeks ago, can't even remember what game...utterly baffled for a period. I've seen ROM eyeing players, then eyeing the bench and getting NOTHING back...NIASSE when he's briefly appeared does a fine impersonation of GEORGE WEAH's cousin that had a jog & a big toey at SOUTHAMPTON....again, looking lost. It goes on...and the fitness levels???? Christ...
And I think this is what peeves me so much when you get that rancid & throwaway ilk of comments that relate to 'Oh, it's the fans...it's the atmosphere, it's toxic...It's the attitude...they're scared...' Frankly, if you think that you're a bad tit and you're just not seeing the wood for the trees. To repeat, they're pro & pampered footballers, well-versed in the art of conducting themselves...and if they can't take a bit of shiz from fans who've seen x-amount of home wins in a season and have paid good money to do so ('The Entertainers...' - sound, whatev's...) then they really need to have a big think. PLUS- and in abject honesty - I really, REALLY don't think the atmosphere has been anywhere near as toxic as some have made out on here, it's been a slow and patient build-up for me. It has the potential to be a bit spicey soon though eh 'cos now it's got legs....but that's up to our little Spanish Fly to prevent innits...
Can he?
