Today, and at this point? Most would just like to win every so often.

Earlier during the year? We could be top 4, that achieves CL. We could at least be competing for the top spots, instead of still being on 38 points in April as well.

We could have won the league this year if we'd performed like what we should be capable of given how the 'big' teams have played. So I get the frustration.

But any chance of the league mattering ended in december. Since then we've clearly realised we can't do anything. given up and only turn up for cup games, so any new loss doesn't really bother me as it's not important.

It's just friendlies in the players eyes at this point.

In all honesty, that's wrong. Without a cup win (which we still need to win two games to do), 5th gets you Europe.

My priority is the league as always but I think Everton should be completing in both league and cup season in season out. Moshiri coming in means this is the time to take the club forward to another level.

Nobody thinks that if we win the fa cup that wouldn't be succesful. Of course it would be the best season since 1995.

But we're still 2 games away from doing that. Every year there's 3 fa cup semi finalist who win nothing and only 1 that does.

We've got a lot of eggs in that basket.

Some would argue that the fourth place trophy we won in '05 would be a greater achievement than winning the Cup.

I for one do not agree with that.

lol @ people saying the league doesn't matter. Lets just pop down to the championship then, you can still win a cup from there.

Three things that happen due to league form matter, going down, winning it and getting into the top 4.

It's been about three months since any of those 3 were last possible for us. So no, the league form as of now doesn't really matter to me.
