OUT OF 30

Agreed...it's crap...and I am firmly in the 'out' camp.

I don't think (Cup win or not) that we can go into another season with him at the helm.

Look mate theres a decision to be made , I hope the club make that decision very quickly.
But if you feel personal insults to the manager is the way forward thats up to you ...I dont.
Martinez has come to the end of the road & I think he knows it . Being called clown/fraudo wont hurry this process along.
He is a clown, mate, and he needs to just GTF out of Everton.

Stop banging on about it, no one is arsed that we beat Dageham and Redbridge, Carisle, Barnsley, Boro, Reading, Bournemouth reserves and Norwich Reserves.

We are 90 minutes into a 270 minute cup run and the other cup run we got 120 minutes into it and found ourselves 3-1 to the good in the final hour we did what's now known as a 'Martinez'

I said when he was first appointed that he had no plan B and queried what would he do when we were 2-0 down to Hull C - this actually happened - I don't know how to retrieve my previous postings but perhaps someone can enlighten me on this....He has to go NOW or the SF can go down the drain....

It's hilarious mate.

Imagine what Leicester et al.'s win ratio would look like if they also got to pad it with League One tripe.

Of course next season they won't need to worry as they'll be playing against Europe's biggest clubs, a bit like Lukaku probably will.

I think you know this is a bit of a statistical oddity. His cup record in his first two seasons was poor going out in all comps as soon as we met premier league opposition. The same almost happened in the league cup this season but we won through v a terrible Norwich side (in a game they had the best of) at home before going out to the next prem side we faced. Chelsea is the only decent progression past a premier league side in 6 cup runs over three seasons so far. Your using a kind fixture list in the cups to try and prove Martinez's long term suitability as our manager. Every single fan can see that we've put away a load of dross, at times unconvincingly, in the two domestic cups. Every single fan can also see that the win ratio in the league is declining season on season (as is league position if we continue in this form). Yet you are on here banging on about what our season percentage in all comps look like because you know it skews it dramatically thanks to: Dagenham and Redbridge, Carlisle, Barnsley, Reading, Middlesbrough, and two fortunate wins v Bournemouth reserves and Norwich reserves.

If Martinez had a brilliant cup record for us in previous seasons I could buy that this was progress. If he had a high win percentage in the league over his time here I could buy this season being a one off. But you are hanging on a statistical anomaly and choosing to ignore unavoidable long term trends (and successive league tables). If you are happy, so be it, but most people are not, if you think he is the third best manager in Everton's history then have at it but I think you might be in a company of 2 and the other poster in there wants to melt down the Dixie Dean statue.
