Roberto Martinez discussion

I think we were

I sense Yarm was ready to sign in the summer. It only broke down due to there chairman.
As possible as it to be, I knew he was.

Which is why i think he is nailed on to sign still for us mate, we stuck through the entire shenanigans and are still apparently sticking in for him as well, just looking at the character of him and everything he has said - i think that will carry a massive amount of weight for him, also think we scored a massive amount of points with Kiev over the way we handled the entire thing as well - especially the way we accepted without fuss when they pulled the rug from the deal - not a bad word said about them from us and think Surkis actually mentioned us in a very positive light shortly after as well.

He wants to go somewhere he knows has faith in him and can't think of a better example than the one we have set to show him that the manager has that faith, he basically sacrificed the transfer window solely to get his man and hasn't given up despite every setback

Conspiracy theory alert...

Take over completed by Jan. Yarm golden boy first buy. Funes Mori 10 million purchase an advance investment.

I will add to that mate for fun ;)

Takeover by Yanks

Funes Mori lived for years and played in America
Yarmolenko holidays in the US every year and his wife works for a US Charity and frequently travels their for business
Stones was denied a transfer to a team owned ..... by .... a ..... Russian

I do

I don't expect instant success but I do expect better than what we are seeing. Is that too much to ask.

I'm not saying we should get top 4 but we should be challenging, holding our own. Not winning 9 home games outta 28

How can we build a squad if we are mid table? That's my point.

If we carry on as we are we will finish tenth ish.

Let's see where we are in at Xmas tho, I am hoping it's better than now, no reason why it can't be
We're we are now is a very promising and respectable position, talking into consideration of opposition plus at times losing 3 internationals out of your back four.

I believe we will finish between 5 th and 8th, with expenditure against other teams it is were we actually belong.
If you feel challenging for a top 4 place is a right of Everton club, you really need to re-address your aspirations.

And before you shout me down, I want to be in the top 4 and I want it more than anything, sadly I think it will take building a squad and patience
